Your Impact
As a Backend Developer, you build future-proof digital solutions, particularly for clients that manage large volumes of information related to assets, products, contracts, and the processes surrounding them. For these organizations, it is essential that users can rely on accurate, complete, and easily accessible information.
You develop systems, platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native applications that bring together information from multiple sources. In doing so, you help users quickly find the information they need, exchange data reliably, and support internal processes more effectively. You take the time to understand the client's organization and domain, looking beyond the initial request to uncover the real challenge before selecting a technical solution.
You work with C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure, but you also focus on what is required to run software securely, reliably, and at scale in production. As a result, you contribute to architectural decisions and think proactively about deployment, monitoring, security, performance, and operational management.
AI-native
Software development is being fundamentally transformed by AI. At Iquality, we do not see AI as a standalone technology, but as an increasingly important part of how we build software and how users experience digital solutions.
You use AI to work smarter, accelerate development, and improve testing efficiency. At the same time, you collaborate with your team and clients to explore use cases where AI, data, and software come together to create business value. We do not expect you to be an expert in every aspect of AI. What we do expect is curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility when applying AI in practice.
What Do You Bring?
- Several years of experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and building cloud-based solutions.
- Understanding of modern software architectures, such as microservices and event-driven systems.
- Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD, and automated testing and deployment.
- Knowledge of Docker; experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), such as Bicep or Terraform, is an advantage.
- The ability to translate business processes and domain challenges into effective technical solutions.
- A customer-focused, pragmatic mindset and the ability to clearly explain technical decisions.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for solutions from development through production and ongoing operations.
- Professional and intellectual capabilities at Bachelor's (HBO) or Master's (WO) level.
- Proficiency in Dutch at a minimum B1 level, both spoken and written.
