Your Impact as Test Engineer
As a senior Test engineer you play an indispensable role in one of our teams, where you ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Your work is diverse: you perform technical and functional tests on the solutions developed within the team, draw up requirements, create strategic test plans and test cases, and document everything carefully. You are able to identify and implement improvements in testing processes and best practices. All while testing complex software systems that often have many interactions with other applications. You will be given the opportunity to delve into test automation and contribute to the development of automated tests for regression testing.
Your insights are therefore crucial for early detection of possible issues, refining the user experience and increasing the reliability of what we build. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that our software not only meets technical specifications, but also really meets the wishes and requirements of our users.
What you bring to the team
We would like to welcome a Test Engineer who has a basis in functional testing methods and techniques. You understand Agile principles, including Scrum and Kanban, allowing you to draw up requirements together with the team. We see experience with testing tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework as a great extension of your skillset. And if you have a TMAP or ISTQB certification, that is a nice bonus, although this is not a must.
Communication is important in this role; we are looking for someone who can clearly convey findings and is able to initiate follow-up actions both independently and together with the team.
