User experience

Introduction

Make your product or service better meet the needs and expectations of users

A good user experience (UX) ensures that your digital solutions work effectively and pleasantly, and are used and embraced by both your customers and your employees. If they can easily find what they are looking for or complete a daily task more quickly, it only leads to profit.

What is the value of UX for your organization?

How frustrating does it feel when a product or service does not deliver what you hope it would? Users consciously or unconsciously bring this experience into the opinion they form about your company or organization. It has a tremendous impact on the Customer Experience or Employee Experience, and ultimately, on the Brand Experience. So, you might as well do it right.

It's not easy, but by listening attentively to your customers and employees, you can go a long way. Good design centered around users results in cost savings on the business side by streamlining processes and reducing errors, and increases customer loyalty.

UX

From UX strategy to a successful product

In our design process, we go through several steps. Whether all are necessary depends on the project. Sometimes, we simply want to enhance an existing solution.

1. What are the needs of your customers and what do you aim to achieve with a digital solution?
We map this out in a UX Strategy Blueprint. This provides guidance throughout the process and gives you insight into the why of this investment.

2. Where are the opportunities to improve your product or service?

Depending on the project and complexity, we map out how certain processes are interconnected and what dependencies exist, both on a human and technological level. A customer journey map or a service blueprint serves this purpose.

3. Initial ideas and validation with users

This might involve a prototype, a few sketches, or a fully developed prototype. We present these to users and other stakeholders for validation. This ensures that what we will build later will genuinely add value.

4. Final design and development

The project takes further shape and comes to life. A final visual design and seamless handover to our developers, as they too influence the User Experience. For larger projects, we utilize a design system, and for smaller projects, we ensure we maintain a uniform approach.

5. Launch

Before launching anything, we test and verify the solution, and assist with communication to the users.

6. Continuous improvement based on data

A digital solution is never complete. There are always aspects that can be improved and made more efficient to truly contribute to your business objectives, such as different user needs or new technology. The use of data is essential for this. We monitor and analyze your solution based on a measurement plan in which the objectives, as outlined in the UX Strategy Blueprint, are made concrete. Gradually, we make your solution better and better.

UX is about how you make people feel when using your digital product or service. Functionality and aesthetics go hand in hand.
