First you, then coding
Attention: this job requires you to be fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken.
We believe the best digital solutions come from deep understanding — of domains, industries, business processes, clients, and stakeholders. That starts with our colleagues. Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer who looks beyond the ticket queue to what our teams and clients actually need? We'd love to talk.
You don't have to be actively job hunting to know things could be different.
Fewer tickets, less "keep the lights on" — and more building something that matters.
As a DevOps Engineer, you'll help shape the development pipeline and cloud-native platforms — built on the Azure and Azure DevOps ecosystem — that our teams and clients depend on.
Digital Sovereignty
We're charting a course toward digital sovereignty. You'll work in demanding, often regulated environments — think banking — where reliability isn't a nice-to-have, it's a hard requirement, driven by legislation like GDPR, DORA, and NIS2. End-to-end control is becoming increasingly critical:
- Sovereign infrastructure: control over where and how workloads run, with attention to data residency and reducing unwanted dependencies.
- Sovereign data: data under your own control, with proper classification, encryption, and governance.
- Sovereign code: a traceable, secure software supply chain — from source to production
You'll help design our platforms and development pipeline so that sovereignty is baked in from the start, not bolted on as an afterthought.
AI-Native
You'll do all of this in a world where AI plays an increasingly central role in how we build, deploy, and operate. You'll work more and more with AI-driven solutions — not just keeping them running, but ensuring they remain reliable and manageable in production.
You'll build and evolve the platforms on which AI models, services, and increasingly AI agents and agentic workflows are deployed — systems that carry out tasks autonomously and support decision-making — while also using AI to sharpen your own work. You'll also contribute to thinking about how we use AI responsibly within our development pipeline.
You...
- Have at least three years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.
- Have hands-on experience with Azure and are comfortable with complex infrastructure, networking, and IaC (Bicep/ARM and/or Terraform).
- Have experience with containerization (Docker) and running Kubernetes in production.
- Have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, and think in terms of a standardized development pipeline.
- Have experience setting up observability stacks.
- Are comfortable with scripting (PowerShell and Bash).
- Get excited about cloud-native and the CNCF ecosystem.
- Take security seriously: zero-trust, least-privilege, and firewalling are second nature to you.
- Speak the developer language and are familiar with C# / .NET and frameworks like React and Next.js.
- Are curious about AI and its role in modern software delivery, and think actively about digital sovereignty.
- Have a client-focused mindset and a pragmatic approach.
- See the big picture and plan ahead.
- Know how to communicate your solutions convincingly and can drive implementation — independently or as part of a team.
Relevant certifications (such as AZ-400 / AZ-500 / AZ-700 and/or CKA / CKAD / CKS) are a plus — and if you don't have them yet, we'll give you the opportunity to earn them.

About us
Since our start in 1994, we’ve built a warm team of 70 people working from the Netherlands, South Africa, and Ukraine. Our philosophy “First you, then coding” recognizes that technology makes an impact because everything begins with people — each with their own needs, ambitions, and responsibilities. Every team member, whether they design, code, or test, is essential to our success.
