Milestone achieved: We receive the EcoVadis Bronze Medal

Sustainability is a term you hear everywhere these days. But as a client or partner, how can you be sure whether a company actually turns beautiful words into real actions? At Iquality, we like proof. That’s why we’re proud to share that we have officially obtained the EcoVadis Bronze Medal.

It’s a great confirmation that we’re on the right track. With our score, we rank among the leading companies worldwide that have been assessed on their CSR performance (Corporate Social Responsibility).

What exactly is EcoVadis?

The name might not immediately ring a bell, but in the world of sustainable procurement, EcoVadis is the gold standard. It is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of sustainability assessments.

EcoVadis does not award medals for good intentions; they assess solid data and policy documents. They evaluate more than 150,000 companies across over 200 sectors. Their methodology is based on international standards such as ISO 26000, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the UN Global Compact.

The assessment focuses on four main pillars:

• Environment: from energy consumption to waste management.
• Labor & Human Rights: how do we treat employees, safety, and inclusivity?
• Ethics: fair business practices, privacy, and anti-corruption.
• Sustainable Procurement: do we consider the sustainability of our suppliers?

Our score: better than 78% worldwide

What does this mean numerically? Our score shows that we perform better than 78% of all assessed companies worldwide. While many organizations are still at the start of their sustainability journey, this score demonstrates that our efforts are making a real impact.

In concrete terms, we are already focusing on:

• Measurable environmental actions: we don’t guess our CO₂ footprint — we map it and reduce it where possible.
• The human dimension: good working conditions and human rights are self-evident to us, both internally and throughout our chain.
• Ethical compass: we apply clear guidelines for compliance and integrity.
• Conscious procurement: every euro we spend is a vote for the world we want to see.

Not a checkbox, but a process

Although we will certainly celebrate this medal, we don’t see it as a final destination. Sustainability is not a one-time ‘checkbox’. It is continuous work. The market evolves, regulations become stricter and — more importantly — our own ambitions are growing.

This Bronze Medal is a baseline and a starting point for us. In the coming months, we’ll use EcoVadis’s detailed feedback to refine our goals even further. We aim to achieve measurable progress in every theme.

We believe that sustainability is also about honesty. That’s why we will be sharing more frequently how our plans are playing out in practice. What is going well? What challenges are we facing? By being transparent, we hope not only to improve ourselves, but also to inspire others in our sector.
