My name is Ruud and at the beginning of this year I started as the person responsible for Business Development at Iquality and I can tell you: I really like it! Nice and helpful colleagues, an informal and accessible company culture, flexibility in how you approach your work, fun DoMiBo's, space to develop yourself and certainly not unimportant, very nice, substantive challenges.
As an organization, we celebrated our 30th anniversary this year and we are constantly moving with our philosophy ‘First you, then coding’.
We develop custom software for the financial sector, the manufacturing industry and the public sector. In terms of solutions, you can think of apps, portals, websites and everything that comes with it (incl. integrations, data, AI). In addition, we recently launched our own product Purple Unity on the market. We often have long-term relationships with our (renowned) customers.
And good news: we are looking for new colleagues to expand and strengthen our current team. Besides a Communication & Marketing colleague, we are also looking for a Sales Executive. In this role, acquiring new clients is central.
In collaboration with Marketing and our external acquisition partner, you will seek out new and interesting contacts. You will continuously expand these relationships by nurturing and developing them. In meetings, you are the one who presents our story and assesses whether there is a match. If so, you try to convert this into a client, and if that succeeds, we will certainly celebrate!
We have to deal with long-term and complex sales processes for new customers. For the acquisition we also try to make the best possible use of partner channels, including via our sister companies within The Digital Neighborhood.

Our current team consists of 3 people and is supported by our technical teams towards clients. This structure allows you to make a direct and significant impact. We work with short lines of communication and are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic and proactive;
- Has a few years of work experience;
- Easily connects with clients at different levels and can switch between them;
- Can build and develop relationships with strong communication skills;
- Is enterprising and results-oriented;
- Enjoys working together;
- Has at least an affinity with digital solutions/software development/IT (specific experience and/or a network are a plus, but your personality is more important);
- Identifies with our core values: Humble, Curious, Responsible, and Committed.
